2. Libraries allow serendipity

The Internet and digital 'libraries' are illusions of what an actual physical library. In an actual library you can often find things you weren't initially looking for. Maybe we need a federal subsidy for schools to have a dedicated librarian and a functioning physical library. Digital should be maybe inter-library loan. Cutting the library really seems penny wise pound foolish.
