4. If an extra $300/ week helps struggling families survive

then it’s time to re-evaluate the entire labor system. Many are desperate and need the money more than their current employers are willing to pay. The problem is not the workers, it’s the employers.

Here’s an idea: Pay those currently unemployed an extra $300/ week as an incentive to return to work for a defined period of time. At least they will be back in the workforce.
