The PRO Act, which has been introduced several times before, “makes it an unfair labor practice to require or coerce employees to attend employer meetings designed to discourage union membership.”

The PRO Act would also upend the so-called “right-to-work” laws in many states around the country, including Alabama, that Mitchell {national director of the Working Families Party and a leader in the Movement for Black Lives} calls “horribly regressive.”
