1. I like the movie a.lot,.but the book is much better.

We read it in one of my classes in high school and it was my favorite book that we read that year. Henry Fonda was the perfect person to play Tom Joad and the other roles were very well done too. The movie lacked some of the books earthiness, though, I suppose you could say. Certain scenes, like the book's ending, were left out. I would definitely recommend seeing the movie, and the book is a must-read of American literature.
