1. The backstory of why there are 5 women's group is pretty interesting and like Will DeM said, a perusal of the Meta archives might prove as interesting. I'll refrain from detail here because, well, I just don't have that kind of time. There is a LOT of it.

2. The Men's Group is not an echo chamber. Debate, discussion, and logically supported discourse is open to anyone who wishes to contribute in a positive and constructive manner. And no they can't "say whatever they want". They CAN say whatever they want, but they have to accept consequences for violations against SOP for the group, just like anyone else who posts here.
