I was 6'3" and 235# in high school, starting linebacker on a division champion team. I got in zero fights, but always assumed it was because no one was ever willing to take me on. Thinking back, though, I never had any inclination to fight.

My father was a big guy too, and in addition to teaching me that hitting a female was something that a "man" would never do under any circumstances, he said that a man's size and strength must never be used to his own advantage, but only in defense of others. He was very serious about that and taught his sons by example.
