He would be a great asset as a candidate, in the VP debate and in the campaign generally. He's articulate, witty, can relate to regular folks, and he is (as Charlie Pierce once said) "ridiculously comfortable in front of a camera)." I think he'd add real energy to the ticket.

And I think he'd be really good in the office, too.
In addition to his wit and overall smarts, he is a serious, knowledgeable and hard-working politician.

I'm more enthusiastic about Franken as a potential candidate than any of those reputedly on the short list.
