Well, I'll dredge up a few more. This brought the tears, not too unusual of late for several reasons, but let me say this: As I edge closer to my 80th year on this old Earth (yes, I clearly recall the day JFK was taken from us--talk about tears!), I am truly grateful that I was privileged to have Barack Obama as my president. He and his extraordinary wife have made this a better place for having been here, and I shall be eternally grateful.

Thanks again for this beautiful post, and may you be as blessed as you are a blessing to your fellow DUers.
