Still a lot of support for our President! [View all]
Went to happy hour today with six other worker/drone, paralegal/secretary-type people (like me). Ages are 20 to 55. They are married, divorced, in a relationship, etc. Some have children, some don't. The conversation, inevitably, went to politics. Very happy to to say that all voiced support for President Obama and are disgusted with the Republican obstruction. All willing to give Obamacare a fair chance to succeed. Everyone wants to give Obama a Congress in his favor in 2014. Some others there heard our conversation and voiced their support as well. There were two cranky old guys we tried to educate but they were beyond reach (Fox News junkies). In all, a very nice time with some co-workers of a similar mindset after a very trying week!
Turned the newbies on to DU and BOG.
