5. W3C, don't sell out!

I'm against this 100%. Doesn't the entertainment industry have enough influence with our governments? Now they're able to even seduce W3C. Tim Berners-Lee must be spinning in his grave! Oh, wait! He's not dead. My mistake lol.

The point is, if these jerks have enough money to throw at governments and even W3C to try to put the brakes on piracy, why don't they just come up with their own way to encrypt their media? Why do they need the DOJ to arrest people and shut down websites and now W3C to try to alter the very nature of the Web?
