OK, I did it. Ordered a MacBook Pro which is scheduled to be delivered on Thursday.

After fighting with Snowball, my MacBook, for the past year, I am finally going to put her down.

She has continued to shut down repeatedly, intermittently and totally unpredictable. Recently, she went through a full week of stability, then yesterday shut down a minimum of 20 times (I kid you not).

She's also running slower, the fan seems to kick in more often, the space bar doesn't work very well and there are sugar crystals under the screen from a small accident involving sweetened hot tea.

I have put off the inevitable for too long due to financial concerns, but I just decided to bite the bullet.

Now that the decision has been made.......
