Mortons Dairies has delivered milk in glass bottles in Liverpool for nearly 100 years.

It has more than 140,000 glass bottles in circulation and delivers more than 27,000 pints of milk from seven depots across the city on a fleet of around 100 electric milk floats daily.

This is the Gem (Global Electric Motorcars) incorporated in DamilerChrysler Mk1 Milkfloat presently being used by Harrisons Dairies, Belmont Road Liverpool. It delivers daily to 432 houses, travelling around 25 to 30 miles per day and returns still half charged.
