5. That was certainly the case in the last election. It was a wipe-out for UKIP in Scotland (again).

There's no electoral scope for UKIP in Scotland. The hardline, mostly rightwing, Unionists have headbanging wings in the more mainstream parties that'll happily pander to them.

Let them burble. Scottish self-determination has more serious adversaries in Johnson, Alister Jack et al., who won't be so easily dismissed.
