The very widespread endemic corruption at the highest levels in Catalan politics and business, not so much. Catalunya is for me synonymous with deep dishonesty in circles of power, at least until very recently (Pascual Maragall being a noble exception).

I speak from these last 30 years of personal experience. And I'm not saying it's not like that also in the rest of the Spanish autonomous communities. But let's drop this subject for now.
