UW might have 400 fewer employees because of budget woes

3. I'm guessing the bloated administration wouldn't bother taking a pay cut.

I work at a state university in a poor state. We have deans of god-knows-what pulling in 6 figures, meanwhile faculty and staff in some departments are paid among the lowest in the nation.
Oh, and our benefits get more expensive every year, amounting to pay decreases.


I pity the people at UW who've lost their jobs or who will have to do a lot more with less.
