1. A few years back, windmills became a big issue in the township just north of me.

Signs everywhere "Stop the Turbines". Then they found out they had to incorporate and raise taxes to institute a zoning board. Then they found out that the farmers would get $400 to $800 per month in rent and royalties. They then voted to allow them.

In the township just South of me they built lots of them and everyone feared that property values would go down. A few years later property values skyrocketed to about the highest in the county.

Then along came windmill cancer and nothing changed.
