Employees are not required to be vaccinated and are allowed to opt out

"As Virginia experiences consecutive days of more than 1,000 positive COVID cases since mid-April, Northam announced he is requiring all state employees to be vaccinated and show proof by Sept. 1. The governor said those who do not comply by the mandate will have to COVID test every week and show proof of their result."
