Texas Public Radio's The Source with David Martin Davies at noon (re-airs at 7pm) weekdays and The Texas Standard (10 a.m. and 8 p.m. weekdays) which is a statewide public radio Texas-centered news program are excellent. The latter show airs on several Texas NPR affiliates (Central). I'm not in the San Antonio area but anytime I am, I'm always impressed with The Source.

I didn't realize that CBS Texas was good. But I'm near Austin and our affiliate is owned by Sinclair Broadcasting. I tend to look askance at anything they air because there's so much bias there. I wonder if they carry those pieces or otherwise.
