6. I added solar panels to my house and am pleasantly surprised.

My initial thought was it would be a break even at best or possibly having increased costs catch up to the payments on my system.

As it turns out I may save as much as 30% over last years bill.

Factoring in payments on the installation minus any tax incentives, the payments plus any electricity bought will be less than what I paid before.

Yet Gregg A-Butt punishes the solar and wind industries that are keeping the grid afloat and people like me who pay a $15 "redistribution fee" for any energy I produce AND if I generate more than I use the provider keeps the KWH to resell to others! All that and I still save money.
