3. As an update on that sexual abuse initiative

It had passed both chambers previously and was supposed to be readied for a referendum in 2020 but publication/Public Notice of that referendum was missed in 2020 by the office of then-SOS Kathy Boockvar in 2020, and she was eventually forced to resign because of that.

But then leading up to bringing it up again for an amendment, the loon state Senate decided to bundle the measure with their abortion-ban and Voter suppression amendments (to get those through the required 2nd session in order to qualify for a referendum) and I expect THAT bundle will be considered DOA in the House.
