The special election to fill the vacancy created when Tony DeLuca was elected posthumously has been set.
The election will be Feb 7, 2023. HD 32 is in Allegheny County and Dems have a 2-1 registration advantage in the district. DeLuca had a Green Party opponent, but no R opponent in Nov

According to the Trib article, it's possible the special elections to fill Summer Lee's (elected to Congress) and Austin Davis' (elected as LtGov) seats could be scheduled for the same day. These seats are also in Allegheney county. It would make logistical sense for them to be all on the same date. With the state House so closely divided, it makes sense to fill all the vacancies as soon as possible.
