The ridiculous high salaries have ruined baseball, at least for most of us. I'm a long-time fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates, and they'll never go to a World Series again. Probably won't even make the playoffs ever again.
It's pathetic what big money has done to baseball. It used to be something that American families enjoyed together, but never again. The cost is prohibitive to attend the games, and it's no fun to watch it on TV. This is why we can't have nice things.
