But it requires a unique skill set.

You need to
1. understand the science behind genetics/ DNA results
2. have excellent genealogy skills
3. understand psychology and how and why people do what they do
4. have a detective mind, ability to tract down clues. Sort out what is important, what is not.

I used to do adoption searches and it was challenging, but quite rewarding and a lot of fun.
