New state house and senate approved [View all]

by the Legislative Redistricting Commission by a 4-1 vote, the 2 Dems, the chairman (Nordenberg) and R State Senate Leader Kim Ward all voted in favor. R State House Leader Benninghoff voted against. There are 30 days now to challenge the map. It's likely the Rs will do that as the House map undoes a lot of their partisan gerry-mandering done over the last 30 years. It still somewhat favors Rs, but that's not good enough for them now.
