Ed Gainey is a Democrat, and the first Black mayor of Pittsburgh ever. I believe his heart is in the right place, but he's trying to distance himself from some of former Mayor Bill Peduto's policies. This is going to be a problem later, I believe Mayor-elect Gainey is going to regret this eventually.
