When the teabaggers took over D.C., they sent their minions here to convert Corbett back in 2009/2010, which eventually lead to his downfall and a breaking of precedence of what pretty much became automatic 2-term governors, of alternating parties, to put Wolf in office.
I am hoping we can elect another (D) next year to keep breaking the precedent because we need to have some backstops to the loons.
ETA - one need only compare former (R) Sen. John Heinz (deceased) to Teabagger Toomey. It's like day and night.
Heinz's efforts even got celebrated by naming the Nature Refuge just outside of South Philly in Tinicum, after him - https://www.fws.gov/refuge/john_heinz/
