after what they did, as it appeared when they were almost politely invited to leave the Capitol building they'd invaded. It's almost better if they, too, thought they were just going to have bragging rights and face not a consequence, only to find they were wrong.

As for the fed charges, though, won't iDJT just blanket pardon them? I mean, I'm sure he normally demands big bucks for those pardons, but he might just do a freebie for these, his most devoted worshippers.
