2. Reading the full list of those arrested and charges is heartening...tells a story

First, the fact that so many of these are felony charges is great. Second, the vast majority of these folks live close to the DC area. So it is not like tens of thousands were willing to get on a plane and go support Donnie. I do realize nationally too many may have been there still in spirit but this was just the local Trump rabble by and large. And yes, many like in my state of WA went to their local state capital to make trouble but not in huge numbers. I think if future demonstrations that want to turn violent are met by adequate police counterforce AND ARRESTS where appropriate, this will be the swan song for Trumps chumps. This needs to be especially true around the Inauguration.
