3. I had continually asked my State Senator about this

at least for the past 4 years, and the GOP-controlled legislature weren't having it.

Suddenly the past couple months, things changed. I don't know if it was because of what happened with the redrawing of the congressional maps by the (D) State Supreme Court, and the GOP losing all the challenges to that, which happened the same year the (D) governor got re-elected (meaning having the Secretary of State who oversees this, once again being a (D)) or they think they can crap on mail-in ballots by sending out bogus ones (a common GOP thing)... I just don't know.

This really seemed to come out of nowhere.
