My ex used to work for a liquor distributor in a state in the Midwest. One of the things I learned from his time there (and especially from an industry conference we attended one year) is that every state has more bizarre liquor laws than the next state. Really. Every state has strange and unique laws. You just live with them, or take up home brewing.
