1. The life lesson that I've learned in this regard

is that private efforts to provide services are not always cheaper or more effective or humane
than state/public supported services. Perhaps one day this knowledge will percolate into the consciousness of Pennsylvania state leaders and others that haven't learned yet.

I'll add a comment about the lack of Christian charity and the advice to "do unto others" but it's obvious that the practice of these tenets is not acceptable as long as a "believer" has the legal right to deny
any services that contradict their own valid or invalid prejudice.
