Those homes are a half a mile away! Hide the children and pets!!!

Actually, it's a beautiful animal and I hope it doesn't fall victim of some gunnutter. Last spring I was getting into my vehicle that was parked right next to my cabin and I noticed that the anthill at the base of a tree just behind my vehicle looked funny. Upon further inspection I discovered that a bobcat had taken a dump right there and used the loose dirt of the anthill to cover it up. Less than a foot from the corner of the cabin. I was thrilled, it left me a present. The snow was gone so the only way to know it had even been there was by the deposit in the anthill - the paw strokes gave it away. I have bigger animals to actually be concerned about, like grizzly bears in the yard.
