Ohio may pursue pair already charged in Michigan for voter intimidation in minority areas [View all]

Ohio authorities are considering whether charges are warranted against a pair of conservative extremists already accused of voter intimidation targeting minorities in Michigan.

After receiving a complaint about the automated calls from Cleveland Democratic Congresswoman Marcia Fudge and others, Yost investigated and referred the matter to Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O'Malley for possible criminal charges.

A spokesman for O'Malley said the office will review the case but it had not yet received the referral from Yost as of late Tuesday afternoon.
