And given the winters we have, it's much more likely for New Yorkers to spend winters in Florida ("snowbirds" ) than for those in Florida to come here. And since pretty much everything was shut down until recently and so many places are still closed and events canceled, I can't see that this is an ideal vacation spot. I don't think many places are these days, especially if you don't want to take chances...
