Obviously, any vehicle coming into the state would draw scrutiny, but it would be an easy matter for someone to lie and say they have been staying inside the state for more than two weeks. They could also state the vehicle has been garaged inside the state for a period of time. Of course, the authorities could pursue the investigation and ask for hotel receipts or addresses of family members and friends.

Then there are the snitches...
