5. Actually Xerox is just catching up

to what other companies did 25 years ago. This situation isn't about unions, it's about salary people who the company gave health care benefits when they retired as an incentive to get good people. Let me tell you, Owens Illinois used to do that too, but did away that 20 years ago. There's no way that unions can provide primary health insurance for retirees with today's anti-union climate and drop in union membership. I have a union sponsored insurance that supplements Medicare but let me tell you it has a $4,000 deductible.

Your dad should have had Medicare, correct? If his union was providing him with primary insurance I'm amazed it could afford to do that.

You think what Xerox did was bad, Mitch McConnell said yesterday that Republicans are coming after Medicare and Social Security because of their tax cuts for the rich. Keep bashing unions and vote Republican and don't get sick.
