but without special lenses it was way way too bright.

But I enjoyed the overall ambiance & lighting changes.
I once saw a total eclipse and there was so much more
visible to the naked eye, so I really was unprepared for
this one, oh well.. still, at one point I stood facing the
eclipse with my eyes closed and just felt it.
