“There is no place for public corruption in Missouri,” Attorney General Josh Hawley said.

Yeah, right. There is no place for public corruption anywhere in the US, when the minnows do it. But the sharks are safely corrupting the waters year after year. Once in awhile a Big Fish is caught, just to make us believe that the other sharks are being diligently pursued and will be brought to justice.

After all, as my likely illogical thinking goes, Trump would not be president if he and his minions had been brought to justice a long time ago. They would be cooling their heels in prisons. Same goes for a lot of other people who are powerful in our country and are dismantling the US bit by bit.
