1. Terribly sad. Young people just don't always have the perspective, coping strategies

or impulse control to deal with strong negative emotions. Everything bad or unpleasant loomed like a disaster back then, and sometimes I felt extremely lonely even when I had friends and family to count on. But people of my generation didn't have social media to make one's situation feel worse, didn't have the pressure to keep up a facade or an image online. I'm grateful for that. Feel bad for kids today.
