First of all, it would nullify any advantage they get from voter ID laws.

Second, it would probably nullify another advantage they have right now. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, like some other recent DNC chairs I won't name cough Terry cough McAuliffe cough could have an election sown tight to the seat of her pants and still find a way to lose it.
