I am "essential" and working very long hours on a COVID-19 project set for FDA submission on Friday. I am exhausted. I have been using DU to de-stress, but that isn't working for me, so I'm going to find some good books.

Sometimes the numbers don't register as people. But my boss's cousin died, and it's personal for her. She is thinking of not sending her child to school if the schools open.

A lot of people at my job are furloughed, by 8-16 hours. I guess that's better than being laid off, if only because you maintain your benefits. I am working about 50-60 hours/week. Furloughing me would not have been good business sense.

But I am reminded every day that I am lucky to be getting paid.

What about you? Do you have a beautiful mask? Are you economically okay? Are you and your family healthy?
