2. I have to agree - and I find the news easier to take from the comedians, too.

But Stephen Colbert used to have a "political" show, even though he played a character. And there is no doubt how he feels about this election, he is always up to speed on the latest news and he obviously loves political guests - he's attracted several who were currently making news like Mary Trump, Michael Cohen and Bob Woodward. So I think he's doing his best to spread the word during these confusing times because he really wants everyone to vote!
