Good news so far with early voting in Il-13th [View all]

As of Saturday 10-20, early voting in Macon county. so far based on party preference set by previous primary cast ballots:

2200 democratic
1200 republican
2000 no party affiliated
as no vote been cast in a previous primary. We can just apply a 50/50 split, which is a way more conservative approach as its most likely the majority are democratic votes. We can also assume that a number of "republican" ballots have gone for democratic candidates too and not so much democratic ballots for republicans.

This is looking very good for democrats as what happens in Macon County is a good sign for Betsy Dirksen Londrigan.

Unverified report that near 30,000 early votes been cast so far in Il-13th, there are 14 counties with in the district. What happens in Macon county is the bellweather of the election....

these are all new records for early voting numbers
