Anyone with Chicago voting issues there is a great thread in reddit from Chicago Election Board [View all]
Hello again! We are here live to answer any and all questions you may have on this Primary Day! A few quick links as always to resolve common queries:
(312) 269-7870 - Election Central will be open all day to take your calls and respond to any queries you may have.
Voter Information - Unsure of where you are voting? Are you sure you're registered? This portal will provide you with your registration information and polling place information. If you are unregistered, you may participate in Election Day registration by reporting to the polling place assigned to your precinct. Unregistered voters must report ONLY to the polling place assigned to his or her precinct if choosing to cast a ballot today.
When You Need ID - This page lays out all times a voter may need identification. Digital forms of identification, such as a picture of a current utility bill on a smartphone, will meet identification requirements.
2016 General Election FAQ - Some of the most common questions posed to us, asked and answered.
A reminder, please DO NOT use this thread for campaigning or electioneering. /r/Chicago users here have always been good at responding accordingly. We'll be answering any questions or concerns throughout the day. You can also reach us on @ChicagoElection on Twitter.
A final reminder: if the first 12 hours and 59 minutes were not enough, never fear. As long as you are in line by 7:00 PM, you MUST be allowed to vote.
EDIT: Whenever possible, please include precinct and ward numbers to expedite any questions or concerns. Thank you!
