1. Actually, it plots tracking trend south of Big Island.

Current plot of storm center track ends short of passage into or past your state, but trend is south of Big Island.

Certainly that can change, and present track presents liklihood of dangerous winds, at best, but it does not appear to be "on the center line of the trajectory cone."
