12. As a longtime FL resident, move anywhere else but here--our summers are 9 months long and brutally humid.

Home insurance is hugely expensive and rising yearly, and our state gov't is owned by greedy conservative billionaire developers who buy the politics they want, and public education is going to privatization hell. But other than that--if you like staying inside your air-conditioned home, car, etc. and taking two showers a day to stay somewhat fresh after stepping outdoors---plus, the whole coastline being rearranged after each hurricane season...

But I could be wrong.
