Then what does it need? A “time out”? A hug? I’m serious. He could’ve killed her. This was a vicious and brutal unprovoked attack. If this “special needs” student acts like this for a video game, how will he act the next time something happens? Does he have a history of acts like this? Some people just need to be removed from society. We lock up sex criminals after their sentences are done via “civil commitment” proceedings. Maybe there needs to be a process put in place for incidents like this too.

The sad truth is some people are just bad. Short of putting them all on an island like Lord of the Flies and letting them fend for themselves, I don’t know what to do. I don’t know if this person had a horrible childhood, what his “special need” was, or anything else. If he is on medications, who knows. All I have to go on is a video of savage attack from behind on a teacher. Thank God there is video. Lock him up and protect society…. Or wait until he kills someone next time?
