3. Doesn't surprise me. I have friends that teach in various schools of all age groups, and the nbr.

1 thing they have mentioned is having a safe environment to teach in. This includes a safe from COVID environment. And this is not just FL.

But one other point that drove a couple of them away from teaching is how political teaching has gotten (on various topics)...you see parents (some, not all of them, and I strongly suspect that those screaming the most at these parent/teacher meetings don't even have any students at the schools where we're seeing the fake parent rage fest against school boards, that is, all fake outrage).

In my opinion, I'm happy they're retiring, most of these teachers are wonderful friends of mine, and they're not having any issues in migrating to other jobs, or just plain retiring.
