This is why I'm so strong an advocate for healthcare. There is NO excuse, in a society like ours, for a woman to die because some beancounter at an insurance company made a decision against the patient but for shareholder profits.

Profit IS a dirty word when it comes to healthcare.

I'd urge all of you to support Elizabeth Warren's 'Accountable Capitalism Act' she introduced in August 2018. This law, if passed, would end the primacy of the shareholder and expand the fiduciary responsibility of CEOs to include the welfare of workers, consumers and the environment.

That would solve a hell of a lot of problems.
