I only heard bits and pieces of interviews and his one or two debates, but OMG.... The ONLY thing this guy has going for him is military background, and perhaps the novelty of the CO REPUGS backing an African American candidate. The latter is totally lost, though, given his very poorly informed teabagger positions-- something that might play to his frothing base in the Springs-- but will do little statewide. Even giving some latitude for his total inexperience (local office only) in politics, I just find his candidacy pretty damned shocking.
